ncalabs co., ltd. is part of the global TestAmerica environmental laboratory group, the largest environmental laboratory network in the world. Our laboratory network includes more than 40 laboratories in North America and Asia, all of which provide high-quality environmental laboratory analyses for a range of government and multi-national corporate clients. TestAmerica has specialized in high-quality environmental laboratory analyses for more than 15 years.

As the TestAmerica laboratory in Thailand, ncalabs co., ltd. has been in operation since 1999. Our Bangkok laboratory supports our clients in SE Asia, and to date we have provided laboratory services for clients located in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Korea. Each TestAmerica laboratory, including our Bangkok laboratory, utilizes the same rigorous technical, quality assurance, and reporting protocols. The result for our clients is a report that includes data that are scientifically and legally defensible, and of internationally recognized quality.

Our laboratories are designed for efficient sample management and productivity, while focusing on analytical method compliance and data quality. All network laboratories utilize the same sophisticated Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and all laboratories are networked via secure internet connections. This results in seemless integration of results from various laboratories with consistent reporting, along with data that are both scientifically and legally defensible. We provide our clients with real-time sample receipt and analysis information using our TotalAccess system, which is accessible anywhere you have internet access. Experienced local and expatriate project managers are available in Bangkok to assist you with planning your projects as well as report interpretation.

Having combined with the Severn-Trent Laboratories (STL) group in 2007, TestAmerica offers unparalled resources and capabilities for both routine and specialized environmental analyses.

Our laboratory data will comply with both international (ie. USEPA) and local regulatory requirements and will be of internationally recognized quality.

Services Update

With the tragic flooding that has occurred recently in central Thailand, many companies and residences are faced with mold issues. The extent of mold growth in previously flooded structures can be significant and present significant health issues. Working with our EMLab division in the United States to provide expert mold culturing and analysis, NCALABS Bangkok has previously conducted surveys of mold concentration in indoor air at commercial buildings, residences, and also foreign embassies in Bangkok. We also work with several consultants who can provide mold survey recommendations and remediation services.

From Bangkok, our technicians can collect air samples and then with rapid turnaround mold testing and analysis from EMLab in the USA can offer several options for both baseline and clearance samples of mold in indoor air and on surfaces:

- Non-culturable analysis only, which is a less expensive approach that used direct microscopic counting of mold spores with calculation of their concentration in air.Pithomyces

- Culture analysis to genus level where samples are collected on growth media, witha standard culture and identification of fungi, along with genus identifcation of the top three most abundandant bacteria.

- Culture analysis to species level, with full speciation of fungi and the top three to five species of bacteria.

Genus and species level identifications help identify fungi and bacteria that may be pathogenic or affect human health.

For indoor air screening and clearance for mold, we provide an easy to interpret MoldReport™, which includes the results for mold spores in air, indicators of mold growth, as well as MoldScore, an easy to understand graphic presentation of relative mold exposure level. MoldReport™ is a fast, easy and inexpensive tool to help answer the question "is there a mold problem here?" within factories, office buildings, and homes.
